A:  As of now, there will be at least 6 books in the series, and if readers continue to enjoy and buy the books, hopefully more!  4 Bodies and a Funeral, 5 Bodies to Die For, and 6 Killer Bodies will be released back to back in April, May, and June 2009!

 Q:
Are there other books that feature characters from the Body Movers series?

A:  Carlotta Wren, the main character in the Body Movers series, was first featured as a secondary character in a book called Party Crashers.  Reading Party Crashers isn't necessary to understanding the Body Movers series, but Party Crashers will give readers some background on Carlotta's wild, party-crashing ways before she was scared straight!

Product CoverParty Crashers    Avon Books, May 2004.  A reserved woman is drawn into a group of serial party crashers to find out what happened to her missing boyfriend, and finds herself thrust into a high-society murder!  A featured alternate of the Doubleday Book Club and the Mystery Guild.

Q:  Stephanie, how did you get the idea for the Body Movers series?

A:  I'd had the idea for a body-moving duo for a couple of years, but couldn't come up with the right characters to pull it off because I was working on so many other projects.  But when I first wrote Carlotta Wren (and mentioned her brother) in the Party Crashers book, I instantly knew I had my duo!  For more "behind the scenes" info, you might check out the Reading Group Guide for Body Movers.
